I’ll be presenting a workshop at the Marketing to Digital Moms Conference. in Toronto June 2-3, 2010.My focus is on the millennial mom demographic and how these women are using social media, mobile computing, and casual gaming, to stay connected, organized, entertained and informed. The presentation highlights some high-profile social media backfires and PR crises resulting from lack of effective social media marketing strategy. Also reviews select case studies of innovative campaigns that successfully reach and involve this cohort in promotion and peer-to-peer recommendation. Early market research shows that millennial moms are always-on, influential, and creative. I’ll identify a collection of the most effective communication initiatives that “click” with digital moms.
